Liverpool are still thinking of completing the Romeo Lavia deal and are in contact with Southampton, hoping to secure an agreement by the end of this month.

The Anfield giants are going through one of the biggest squad rebuilds in recent years. They already let go of James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita.

On the other hand, the Reds signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai as midfield reinforcements. And recent news is that Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are leaving LFC.

Both of the experienced midfielders are moving to Saudi Pro League to continue the next phase of their careers. Amid this situation, the Merseysiders are in dire need of signing new midfielders.

There are already rumours of Liverpool pursuing Kalvin Phillips, Cheick Doucoure, and Sofyan Amrabat. But the most likely candidate to join the Merseyside club will be Romeo Lavia.

Liverpool will soon crack the Romeo Lavia deal

Earlier reports suggested that Liverpool have reached an verbal agreement with the Belgian international.

Lavia is quite impressed and convinced by Klopp’s future plans and Liverpool project. And the latest report via Football Insider confirms that Liverpool will secure the deal by the end of July.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is very much eager to sign the midfielder this summer. He is often called ‘beast’ because of his ability to break down opposition attacks, gain possession and operate play from the deeper positions.

He has attracted the interest of many PL clubs although the Reds look like potential suitors.

However, the Merseysiders would have to keep in mind that Arsenal and Chelsea are also in the mix to sign the 19-year-old.

Southampton wants £50M for the Belgian midfielder before he could get a move. But the Reds are hesitant to pay more than £40M as Lavia has very little experience in the PL.

if Liverpool cracks this deal then although the midfield would lack experience but it would be a great midfield to work with keeping in mind the future.
