Liverpool would reportedly be battling with Manchester City for the AC Milan wonderkid, Francesco Camarda, who made history this weekend in the Serie A.
As per 90min, the Reds are one of the sides keeping tabs on a 15-year-old forward, who scored over 400 goals at youth level. Rival PL clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea are also said to be interested in the young prodigy.
Pioli called up Camarda as he made history as he came on for the Italian giants. The Italian striker became the youngest player to ever feature in a Serie A match.
This has surely turned heads in Europe with Liverpool wanting to sign the wonderkid. Moreover, the teenager is yet to sign a senior contract with Milan and the race is already on.
Liverpool in the race for Francesco Camarda
As per reports, Liverpool are keen on securing the Italian’s signature in 2024. But they aren’t alone as Man City and Chelsea are also said to be interested in the teenager.
This is just in the Prem as Real Madrid, PSG, and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the teenage 400-goal-sensation.
There is no secret that AC Milan have in their hands a gem and a future superstar. But it is up to the player to choose wisely and tread in the path of greatness.
He has an impressive CV and a record to his name already. Milan for sure would do everything in their hands to tie him down to the San Siro side.
Moreover, being from the academy, the player might dream of representing his side’s senior side.
However, should the player decide otherwise, there are plenty of suitors for Camarda. With the teenager bursting onto the scene this early, it would come down to the decision-making capabilities. Oftentimes, players just stay at their youth clubs’ senior squad to get the maturity they need.
This could hamper Liverpool’s plans to sign the young star and other teams unless we see a real twist in the tale.
