Liverpool have been targeting young midfielders who share a common agent, Pimenta who was spotted at Anfield earlier this year.
Klopp has been reportedly active in making a move to sign Thuram and Kone, after a stellar campaign from the two 22-year-olds. Also on that list is Bayern’s unhappy Ryan Gravenberch.
The Dutch midfielder has been on the Liverpool radar for quite some time now. Furthermore, Klopp looks to bring the trio and complete his rebuild for the summer.
There have been other names, however. The likes of Gabri Veiga and Nicolo Barella have been a constant these days for Reds fans.
Liverpool are in the market for further midfield reinforcements this summer, while a left-sided centre-back is also reportedly on their wishlist.
It has now been revealed by Football Insider that three players who have been linked with a move to Anfield this summer share the same agent.
Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram, Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven are all represented by Team Raiola. It is the agency founded by the late super-agent Mino Raiola.
The agency is now headed up by Raiola’s successor, Rafaela Pimenta.
Pimenta could hold the key for three Liverpool transfers
The Brazilian was spotted in Anfield while attending a match back in January. This was amidst the speculation that his player, Gravenberch could be joining the Reds on loan.
While that move failed to go through, the Dutch international could be heading to Anfield after struggling for game-time in Germany.
Gravenberch, 22, started just three Bundesliga games in his debut season in Germany after joining from Ajax last summer. Moreover, he recently admitted that he was disappointed with his lack of minutes in the Allianz.
But Bayern will be reluctant to part ways with the player just 12 months after signing him in a €25m (£21m) deal.
Meanwhile, one of the more likely transfers to happen is that of the Nice midfielder, Khephren Thuram. There have been various reports that the 22-year-old is very close to joining the Reds.
Van de Ven is also said to be on Liverpool’s radar, with Tottenham also interested in the 22-year-old. The Dutch defender has left the door open for a move to Anfield. He has claimed he would consider leaving Wolfsburg this summer if a suitable offer arrived from the PL.
“I’m very good [happy] at Wolfsburg, so I don’t mind staying at Wolfsburg for another year. I read everything. I have good contact with my agent, so I know what’s going on. I’ll see where it will lead.
Hopefully, [moving to a bigger club] would be nice. The Premier League, maybe, yes. Who knows?”
