Gary Neville passes his verdict on what the result of Tottenham vs Liverpool would be: Report

Gary Neville blasts Premier League as Liverpool prohibited to wear away kits against Leeds

Former England defender and now pundit Gary Neville has predicted the scoreline of the upcoming match between Tottenham and Liverpool.

The 2023-24 PL season kicked off in great fashion and is looking to entertain through and through. Moreover, the Reds have also started off well after a successful transfer window.

After an emphatic 3-1 victory against West Ham United in the 6th game-week of PL, the Merseysiders are currently in the 2nd place. For the next match, they will face Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday, September 30.

And the match is going to be nothing short of an exciting watch. The London side are coming afresh from the 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the North London derby.

Meanwhile, PL pundit Gary Neville has an interesting take on what the result of this match would be.

Gary Neville predicts Tottenham vs Liverpool

Neville spoke on The Overlap and he feels the match will end in a draw. While asked about what the result would be, he responded,

“I say 1-1.”

Even after Harry Kane left, Spurs have found their rhythm in the PL with the latest appointment of Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian coach’s influence on the team seems to be quite positive which is reflected through results.

So far, the North London side has won 4 matches and drew 2 in the 6 matches they have played so far. They are currently sitting in the 4th place with 14 points, 4 points off of the 1st place occupied by Manchester City.

Tottenham have been playing good football and showing signs of a promising season. The coach and the team are looking quite confident and composed both on and off the pitch.

On the other hand, Liverpool are going full-throttle this season with inexplicable performances since the start of the season.

The Anfield giants are on a 7-match unbeaten run so far this season and will be looking forward to extending the run.

So it is understandable if Gary Neville chooses to be neutral on his part from discarding any of the teams of their credit.
