The live match coverage of the match between Liverpool and Fulham today will not be broadcast live on TV in the UK due to some technicalities.
The Reds are currently 3rd in the PL points table with 28 points after 13 matches played. The team drew the most anticipated clash in the PL against Manchester City with a 1-1 scoreline.
After the successful outing to Etihad Stadium last week, the Merseysiders faced LASK at their home ground. They emerged victorious as they scored 4 goals to demolish the Austrian side.
As things stand now in the PL, Arsenal top the table with 33 points after an extra match. So the Anfield giants can reduce the margin with a game in hand.
LFC are returning to PL action today as they will take on Fulham and hopefully secure the victory.
Liverpool vs Fulham live TV coverage not available in UK
However, people sitting at home in the UK will not be able to enjoy the game on TV due to some technicalities. The game will kick off at 2 pm GMT on Sunday.
But the match was originally scheduled to be played yesterday on Saturday, December 2 at 3 pm GMT. Moreover, the game got rescheduled to today because of Liverpool’s participation in the Europa League.
The original match was placed in a blackout slot, which is never accessible to viewers. So, the rescheduled match will have the same rule applied to it. As a result, Sky Sports will broadcast West Ham United versus Crystal Palace at 2 pm.
This is not the first time the Reds have suffered this kind of situation regarding a Fulham fixture. A similar issue happened last season when the Merseysiders faced the Cottagers in March.
The match was postponed as Fulham played in the deeper stages of the FA Cup competition. Thus the rescheduled match’s broadcast was not available.
However, the fans in the UK will be able to stream the match online via streaming platforms.
