Liverpool star defensive midfielder Fabinho reveals new ambitious aims in an interview with the club.

The Brazilian midfielder joined Liverpool way back in 2018 from Monaco. While talking about his journey since his arrival at the club Fabinho said

“Look, these last three seasons I’ve been really happy here. I learned a lot with the manager, with all the staff, with the boys as well. We achieved things together and for me I think it’s the best place to be, the best place to keep growing, to keep learning from the staff, from the boys.”

Speaking about the Liverpool Football Club, Fabinho further added saying

“Liverpool is the best place for me. We have a great team and one of the best managers in the world, the best conditions to play football.”⁣

The 27-year-old recently signed a new 5-year long term contract with the club. He is set to stay until 2026 at Anfield. Talking about his experience to pair up with the Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, he further added saying

“It’s good to talk like Hendo, because he is really different. He’s the captain, and he’s talking all game long! He is a good example to look at and to try to learn. “I think I improved a lot in this role last season, but I still have a lot to improve and grow as a leader.”⁣

The Liverpool defensive midfielder has made 122 appearances for the club since arriving at Atfield 3 years back. The Brazilian has been part of a Premier League title, one Champions League trophy, one UEFA Super Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup.

In conversation about the new signing Thiago Alcantara last year, Fabhinoh looked quite impressed with the Spanish midfielder. Speaking about Thiago, Fabinho said

“I learn new things with Thiago naturally, through training days and games.”⁣

Fabinho is optimistic about the future of Liverpool football club and he believes the new season will yet again embark on the journey back among the honours for the Reds.
