Liverpool are already looking at a life beyond Mo Salah and they are looking at possible replacements for their consistent goal-scorer and Jarred Bowen is one of them.
As per Football Transfers, Liverpool are interested in signing the Englishman from West Ham, before the transfer window closes.
The reports have claimed that the Reds are looking at Bowen as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian now seems to be nearing a move to Saudi Arabia after strong reports suggest that he is inclined to agree to a deal with Al-Ittihad.
The Saudi club are now keen on acquiring the Egyptian after signing Benzema and Kante this summer.
However, the Reds are not taking any risks as they are preparing for life after the Egyptian. The likes of Leroy Sane, Federico Chiesa, and Karim Adeyami are all being eyed for his replacement.
Now, there is a new name that the Reds are targeting and it is the consistent West Ham winger, Jarred Bowen.
Liverpool targeting Jarred Bowen
As per reports, Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the 26-year-old, who can also play as an attacking midfielder.
The German further believes that he could represent an ideal replacement for Salah in the short term.
However, David Moyes’ side would probably deny the chance to part ways with Bowen, so late in the transfer window.
Moreover, given the start that the Englishman has had, with 2 goals and 1 assist in three games, it is hard to see the Hammers let go of him.
He has consistently been the star player for West Ham in the previous seasons. Moreover, he has been crucial in the Hammers’ Conference League victory last season.
These stats could prove to be important for him to fill in the huge void if Salah is to leave. Bowen has made 135 appearances in the PL and has scored 29 goals while providing 25 assists.
