Liverpool are on their way to sign Bundesliga sensation Wataru Endo as medical is agreed upon, while Ryan Gravenberch conversation is still on.

The Reds are nearing signing their third midfielder of this summer transfer window in the name of Wataru Endo.

Meanwhile, they had been active participants in the race to sign Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo as their new defensive-midfielder.

But both the players are now set to move to Stamford Bridge, causing the Anfield giants to miss out on their potential third midfield signing.

With Jordan Henderson and Fabinho also leaving this summer, the club’s need of signing a new midfielder has become more obvious.

However, the latest reports are pretty exciting for the Reds.

Liverpool now trying to sign Wataru Endo and Gravenberch from Bundesliga

According to journalist Christian Falk, Liverpool have bid for VfB Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo and are very close to completing the deal in the coming hours. The journalist also indicated that Ryan Gravenberch is still on their radar.

Taking it to Twitter, Falk stated,

“Despite the bid for Liverpool for Wataru Endo (VfB Stuttgart), Liverpool is still interested in Ryan Gravenberch (FC Bayern).

With Fabinho and Jordan Henderson LFC lost two Player on this Position. Also Manu Koné (Gladbach) could become a topic again.”

The Japan international captain played 33 games for the German side. He averaged 2.1 tackles and 0.8 interceptions per game.

As the tweet suggests, the Merseysiders are also considering a move for the Dutch wonderkid. The 21-year-old seeking a move out of Bayern Munich as his future looks unsure.

The journalist also hinted at the possibility of LFC entering Manu Kone conversation again. The club might approach Borussia Monchengladbach to sign the 22-year-old French midfielder.

And with Jorg Schamdtke’s expertise in the German market, he will be working hard to make sure the players move to Anfield.

It is only a matter of time before the club announces the signing of Wataru Endo. Moreover, if they can also sign either Gravenberch or Kone then the midfield will be set for the next few seasons.
