Liverpool are one of the many clubs to submit a transfer offer for LASK winger Keito Nakamura according to the latest report.

The Anfield giants are going through a busy transfer window this summer. Their main focus has been reconstructing the midfield and they have worked accordingly.

The Reds have signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai as their midfield reinforcements this summer. The pair has cost the Merseysiders £95M.

And now the latest report indicates that the former Premier League champions have submitted an official bid to sign Japanese attacker Keito Nakamura.

Liverpool submits transfer bid for Keito Nakamura

According to a new report via Foot Mercato, the Reds have offered LASK £6M for the 22-year-old.

The Reds are also willing to loan him back to his current club but the Austrian side has rejected the offer. Apparently, the club wants £9.45M for me which would eventually become a record sale for LASK.

Nakamura joined the Austrian side in the summer of 2021. And he had a tremendous last season where he scored 17 goals and assisted 8 in 36 games (stats via Transfermarkt).

However, the English giants are not the only club who are after the Japanese winger. He has also attracted the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt and Lille and the French side are in pole position to sign him.

Although the 22-year-old initially did not want to move to France. But now he has changed his mind and has ‘started to take information’ about Ligue 1 and Lille.

The Japan international is a right-footed left-winger who is also capable of playing as a false 9 and a No. 10.

Liverpool are already stacked for world-class left-wingers but Jurgen Klopp is impressed with his versatility and productivity.

However, the Merseysiders are in much need of a midfielder and would probably recruit one in the middle. If only there are funds left after the midfield signing then the Reds might go after Nakamura.
