Liverpool might complete the Ryan Gravenberch deal from the German club as Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel could let him go this summer.
The Reds faced a lot of hurdles towards completing their midfield rebuild this summer. Departures of senior players from Anfield and losing out on vital targets hit them hard.
However, the club recovered from all these with the third signing in the form of Wataru Endo. Still, this is not the season-defining signing for the Merseysiders.
Many names are surfacing up at this moment but the name that tops the list is Ryan Gravenberch.
Earlier reports suggested that the Anfield giants had submitted a bid for the Dutch international. And latest report provides vital updates regarding that.
Liverpool expecting to get the Ryan Gravenberch deal over-line
Latest report via The Daily Mail, LFC have held “advanced talks” with the German side to sign the 21-year-old midfielder.
The club is waiting for their manager, Thomas Tuchel’s approval who thinks that the Dutchman might not be anymore in the team.
According to a report via The Athletic, Ryan Gravenberch’s future at the Bavarians looks uncertain. The report stated,
“While many of Gravenberch’s team-mates have praised his training performances and club officials believe that the former Ajax midfielder should be given more time, Tuchel has indicated that he would sanction a move.”
The Bavarians will now replace the Dutch midfielder with their new signing Konrad Laimer.
Gravenberch did not get much playtime in recent times. He only got 3 starts for the German giants and was also dropped off of the Netherlands World Cup 2022 squad by Louis Van Gaal.
For Liverpool, he would be a great signing as this would increase squad depth not only in number but in quality also.
He would not immediately start for the Reds but Klopp will slowly integrate him into the first-team.
