Agents of Liverpool target, Andre Trindade are set to travel to England, presumably to talk to the Reds about a potential transfer.
Andre has been a long-term target now for the Reds and Liverpool had wanted to sign him the previous summer.
However, the Fluminense director refused to let go of their ‘special player’ before the final of their Copa Libertadores.
Now, it seems that the Brazilian side is ready to listen to offers for their midfielder.
Liverpool target, Andre Trindade’s agents to land in England
As per The Telegraph, it may not be Liverpool who the Brazilian side end up doing business with.
They claim that Fulham have installed Andre as their ‘first choice’ target should Joao Palhinha leave the club next month.
Thus, Andre’s agents are said to be travelling to England this week. However, it isn’t clear if they would only hold talks with Fulham and not open to other clubs.
Moreover, even Palhinha has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Fulham need a replacement lined up. Apart from Liverpool, even Bayern Munich are eyeing for the Portuguese midfielder.
As for Andre, he would be moving to Europe sooner than later and the Premier League would be an ideal destination.
Meanwhile, it seemed inevitable that the 22-year-old would become a Liverpool player, back in the summer. However, that wasn’t to be and the Reds instead signed 4 other transfer targets.
Now, however, the Reds’ interest in Andre seems to have reduced. It would be Fulham, if things go right, who would be looking to land the player at Craven Cottage.
With the Brazilian season now over, things will finally come to a head with Andre over the coming weeks.
One way or another, there’ll be an end to this saga. If Liverpool decides they do want in, now is the time to let that be known.
