Arsenal gain advantage over Liverpool from the new decision regarding Everton’s point deduction in the Premier League.
The Gunners might have gotten an edge over bitter rivals Liverpool and Manchester City in the entertaining PL title race.
The North London side are scheduled to rival both the sides in March which will result in spectacular matches to watch.
But prior to those clashes, Arsenal has gotten the upper hand in their title charge as Premier League changed their decision about points deduction.

Everton’s Punishment Lightened
The Toffees were docked 10 points last year for breaking Profit and Sustainability Rules. The club, unhappy with the decision, challenged for it to get overturned.
The Merseysiders were waiting for the outcome of the appeal and on Monday, an independent appeal board announced that Everton wouldn’t lose as many points.
Instead of 10 points being deducted, the punishment was reduced to six points.
Football.london explained the situation,
“Everton FC appealed the sanction imposed against it on nine grounds, each of which related to the sanction rather than the fact of the breach, which the club admitted.
Two of those nine grounds were upheld by the Appeal Board, which has substituted the original points deduction of 10 for six. This revised sanction has immediate effect and the Premier League table will be updated today to reflect this.”

Premier League: Arsenal Could Rival Liverpool
The revised points table has seen Everton climb to the 16th place, Nottingham slipping to the 17th place and Brentford move up to 15th spot.
And now this reshuffle could benefit Arsenal as Everton would try their level best to stay away from 17th to 20th position to avoid relegation.
Forest would try the same which could see Nuno Espirito Santo’s boys just into the Liverpool game with everything they have, to scavenge even a single point.
Furthermore, Manchester City lost two points at City Ground last season. The Gunners will be hoping the same happens this time so that their title hopes stay alive.
Liverpool have a rather tough line of games ahead as they will be facing Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Everton [postponed] and Brighton in the PL in March.
Arsenal will be hoping that the table-toppers loss as much points which will eventually give them the space to climb up the PL points table.
