Liverpool are now holding talks with Aston Villa and agents of Jaden Philogene for a potential transfer over this summer.

According to a new report via Anfield Watch, the Reds are in active talks with Aston Villa to sign the 21-year-old player.
The London-born Dominican is a right-footed winger, with the ability to play anywhere across the attacking line.
He has made 4 appearances for the England U-20 national team and is yet to register a goal or an assist.
The 21-year-old has made only 5 appearances for the Villains and made 2 assists. However, he has spent most of his time out on loan to teams in lower divisions.
In the 2022-23 season, the winger played in 39 games for Cardiff City across all competitions. He was able to score 5 goals and assist 1 for the Bluebirds.
Klopp’s concern
Mohamed Salah is 31 now and soon he will start declining. He could even possibly make a move out of Anfield in the coming years. He can be a good alternative to the Egyptian.
So considering all these factors, the young age and versatility of Jaden Philogene has attracted Liverpool. And Jurgen Klopp has evidently nurtured young and promising talents into world-class players.
The winger is valued at €2.80M as per Transfermarkt. Now the concern for the Anfield giants only comes from Newcastle United as the Magpies are also interested in the player.
The Reds still should prioritize the midfield signings. However, if Liverpool are able to get this deal over the line then he can prove to be a great signing.
