Jurgen Klopp’s agent reacts to relief Liverpool fans after news broke out with the Reds’ boss being linked to the new German Nation Team’s job

Germany crashed out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 with just three games of Group stage matches. The 2014 edition winners suffered a shocking defeat to Japan, which ultimately proved crucial, as a 4-2 win over Costa Rica wasn’t enough for Hansi Flick’s side to qualify for the Knock out stages.

The early exit in Qatar means the German National team have failed to qualify for the Round of 16 for the second consecutive time, as a similar shocker suffered in 2018 Russia.

Head Coach Hansi Flick is currently under a lot of criticism and his future with the National team is up in the air, resulting in Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp being linked for the job for his homeland.

With the German men’s team’s crisis, head coach Hansi Flick admits after the game that a resolution needs to be sought over his role “quickly.” The bookmakers mark Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp to be the favorite to take over as German manager if Flick departs.

The Deutscher Fubball Bund (DFB), the German Football Association have confirmed they will begin talks with Flick this week in the aftermath of Germany’s World Cup exit.

Moreover, with the situation in Liverpool, with owners Fenway Sports Group heading towards a partial sale, however, still in talks for a potential sale, leading to speculation of Klopp’s exit from Anfield.

Nevertheless, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke, responded with disapproval to any such claims.

Speaking to Sky Germany, he says:

“It’s a media issue,

Jurgen has a contract in Liverpool until 2026 and he intends to fulfill it.”

Moreover, earlier in November Klopp told reporters, regardless of FSG’s situation with the club, he remains “committed to the club.”

Klopp and his staff signed a contract extension back in April, with the extension until 2026, meaning the German will have been at Anfield for 11 years.
