Jurgen Klopp has some appraising words for a 16-year-old youngster prior to the Liverpool vs Rangers Champions League game.

Klopp feeling optimistic for the Liverpool vs Rangers game tonight

Ben Doak is a huge talent according to Jurgen Klopp, who also praised the advancements achieved in Scottish football.

The Reds get ready for tonight’s Champions League match against Rangers. For the first time ever, the two clubs get together.

In recent years, Scottish football has advanced significantly. This season, the Gers participate in Europe’s premier club competition with their bitter rivals and reigning Scottish champions Celtic, who they faced off against in the Europa League final last year.

Ben Doak’s excellence

Throughout the summer transfer window, the Reds acquired Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen.

Doak was also brought in from Celtic for a rumoured compensation sum of roughly £600,000 in order to join the Reds’ under-18 team. Already, the 16-year-old has made a good impression.

In only seven games, Doak has contributed three goals and three assists while earning a cap for Scotland’s under-21 squad.

The Liverpool boss didn’t shy away from praising the youngster. Klopp believes if the mentality is right, the kid has a bright future ahead of him

Liverpool’s approach for the Champions League match tonight

It’s not a news anymore that the Reds are struggling. Be it in the Champions League or in the Premier League, Liverpool is struggling to be and play at the level of previous seasons.

Klopp’s approach to the game is something to look forward to. The scousers believe in Klopp and the locker room to always push back when their back is against the wall.

Although a lot of our star power is warming the injury bench, the German boss knows how to be efficient. After scoring a late winner in the last Champions League game, the Reds are confident to end the day with a win.
