West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen has claimed that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is a better attacker than Eden Hazard was at Chelsea.
The Premier League has witnessed some of the greatest players and attackers of all time to grace the pitch. The Merseyside club has also seen many greats play for their side.
From the likes of Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, and Michael Owen to Fernando Torres, Phillipe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and so on, all have graced the Anfield pitch.
But without any doubt the best attacker right now in the PL and in this Liverpool team and arguably one of the best wingers in the PL would be Mohamed Salah.
Another talented winger Jarrod Bowen has commented on the abilities of the Egyptian international.
Jarrod Bowen praises Mohamed Salah
The English international was talking about best players in different positions when speaking to Sky Sports. He said,
“Salah. The numbers he produces every year. He’s won Champions League and Premier League titles and scores 20 goals a season, every season.
Hazard was a joke but for me, the way I play as well, probably a bit more biased towards a left footed winger and who you want to base your game of.
He’s the benchmark… Salah for me, he’s done it every year as well. For me, the way I play as well, I’m probably a bit more biased. Salah obviously, Saka as well.”
The 26-year-old is a left-footed right-winger who occasionally operates in the center-forward role, similar to what Salah does.
It is not unknown that Bowen is one of the frontrunners to replace the outbound Salah who will inevitably leave LFC in the coming seasons.
So it is quite good that the young winger has respect for the senior player.
Now the only thing concerning is how Salah’s departure situation and Bowen’s saga pans out. Hopefully, Liverpool will get an adequate replacement for the 31-year-old.
An ardent football fan and a proud Red. I take immense pleasure in analyzing the intricacies of the game.
