An injury to a Reds legend and a rant of Trent Alexander-Arnold

A much-anticipated Trent Alexander-Arnold rant have an outburst. While formal Liverpool legend picks up an injury.
News from the Anfield
It’s been a rough season so far for the scousers. With a lot of injuries and players out of form, it’s been a bumpy start. The only international break of the season before the World Cup is already underway.
Therefore, Liverpool are currently enjoying a breather from their duties. The Reds may now reflect on their faltering start to the new season thanks to that, and when they return to the field the following weekend, they will be aiming to better. Nevertheless, news about Jurgen Klopp’s team has continued to emerge from Anfield over the last week.
A former Liverpool defender picks up an injury
Martin Skrtel, a former Liverpool player, was removed off the field as Liverpool and Manchester United legends duked it out. There is no doubt the scousers enjoyed watching their former legend in the backline for the Reds.
The Slovakian and former Red Devils forward Fraizer Campbell engaged in a horrifying head-to-head collision. After the incident, he made an effort to continue playing but ultimately had to leave the match.
Thankfully, he walked off the field without the aid of a stretcher, and the Reds went on to win thanks to goals from Mark Gonzalez and Florent Sinama-Pongolle.
Gary Lineker calls out the England Coach
In the wake of England’s narrow loss to Italy, former player Gary Lineker criticised Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate for leaving Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold on the replacements’ bench.
Lineker:
“A gentle reminder that England’s most creative midfielder, James Maddison was not in the squad of 28. And England’s most creative footballer, Trent Alexander-Arnold sat on the bench.”
Both players showed quality on the pitch last season. And such qualities should not be on the bench. In their group, England is in no way even close to being in a comfortable position. The next week, England will play their last UEFA Nations League encounter of the current season against Germany.
