Genius Deal Made On Ex-Liverpool Player’s Contract Proves To Be Beneficial!

Possible transfer of ex-Liverpool player Dominic Solanke this season could become profitable for Liverpool due to a clause in his contract.

Reports have emerged that Solanke is being tracked by several teams and can possibly leave Bournemouth this summer

Solanke had an excellent season with Bournemouth this season scoring 19 goals.

Sell-On Clause In Solanke’s Contract

Adam Leventhal of The Athletic revealed that Dominic Solanke’s contract at Bournemouth includes a release clause of 65 million pounds that can only be activated by certain clubs.

But Liverpool have a sell-on clause on Solanke’s contract that entitles them to 20% of the profit from the sale of Solanke – he added.

If Solanke is being sold this summer and his release clause is activated then LFC would receive around 9 million pounds from his sale.

Solanke’s Time At Liverpool

Solanke joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2017 and made 27 appearances for Liverpool’s senior team scoring just one goal.

He was transferred to Bournemouth in 2019 in the winter transfer window and has spent the last 5 seasons at Bournemouth.

His best season at Bournemouth remains the 21/22 season in the Championship scoring 46 goals and assisting 7.

It was clear that his transfer to LFC did not work out, but Liverpool knew his potential as they put a sell-on clause in his Bournemouth contract.
