The 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship, Euro 2024, is ready to commence on June 14 in Germany and here’s where you can watch the matches live in India.
The pan-European tournament will be beginning in the middle of June and will be played till July 14 with a total of 24 countries challenging for the silverware. The 24 teams have been divided into six groups comprising four teams in each group.
Surely, the Euros will be a treat for the football fanatics and the pundits. Several Liverpool players will be taking part in the competition and their respective nations will be ready to put up a fight against their fierce opponents.
The Group Stages will be played from June 14 to June 26, the Round of 16 from June 29 to July 2, the Quarterfinals on July 5 and 6, the Semifinals on July 9 and 10 and the Final will be played on July 14.
Nations Taking Part
Italy are entering the tournament as the defending champions, having won Euro 2020 beating England in an entertaining final. They will be one of the strong contenders to win the title.
Even though England lost the last campaign in a final some would call unfair, the Three Lions are one of the strongest sides to take part and are capable of winning this time.
The host nation Germany, also have a pretty solid shout at the title as they will have the advantage of playing on their home soil.
Spain will be a natural title contender by being one of the powerhouses in European football. The same can be said for the Netherlands who reached the quarter-finals stage of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and had a solid build-up to the competition in the qualification stages.
It would be interesting to keep a watch on Albania, who qualified for the competition after 2016, and tournament debutants Georgia.
