Liverpool Eyeing Ngumoha
Rio Ngumoha a highly-rated young player for Chelsea, is reportedly close to joining Liverpool according to journalist Graeme Bailey.
A number of prominent European teams including Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping an eye on the 15-year-old winger after seeing him perform well in Chelsea’s youth program.
Liverpool seem to be in the lead in the competition to sign Ngumoha despite the interest shown by these teams which has Chelsea frustrated about losing one of their most promising academy players.
Breaking Wage Structure
The Merseyside club’s high regard for the young talent is demonstrated by Fabrizio Romano’s confirmation that Liverpool will abandon their traditional wage structure for the academy in an attempt to entice Ngumoha.
Romano claimed that Liverpool are working hard to get the winger to Anfield and that the deal is almost final.
This action demonstrates Liverpool’s faith in Ngumohas potential and their dedication to bolstering their youth academy with elite talent.
The Best Possible Environment
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah are just a few of the exceptional young players that Liverpool’s academy has produced and helped break into the first team.
A clear path for young players to progress is demonstrated by the club’s willingness to use academy players in the main squad in the Premier League.
With a bright future at Liverpool as he continues to develop Ngumoha would gain from this environment.
