Olympics 2024 is coming soon and Liverpool are not far away from the hype at all. Fans are trying to know about the players who are going to participate from the Red squad. And if everything goes perfectly, there will be representatives there.
Are Liverpool Players Participating In The Summer Olympic Games 2024?
As reports are coming in, it is clear to us that Mohamed Salah will not be a part of the Olympics. He has sided with his Merseyside Club’s boss Arne Slot to be a part of the pre-season training at AXA Centre.
This summer break is not going to be great for the Men’s team, so, are there Liverpool players who will participate in the Summer Olympics?
Since senior team members from Anfield‘s men’s team are going to be unavailable, LFC have planned to take this a level further.
As representatives, two members from Liverpool will be there in the Summer Olympics 2024.
Fuka Nagano, a part of the LFC women’s squad is going to be there. Although her tournament starts on 25th July, she is excited. Fuka Nagano has expressed her gratitude through a post on her Instagram account.
On the other hand, Teagan Micah, the Goalkeeper of the LFC women’s squad, will also be there. As a Liverpool player, she will represent Australia in the Olympics of 2024. Since both of them are in different groups, it will be one hell of a scene if the two Reds meet each other at knockouts.
After the Olympics are over, September 21 will mark the beginning of the Women’s Super League. Teagan and Fuka will be actively taking part in the tournament.
We were all excited to see Salah from Liverpool participating in the 2024 Olympics. But that possibility is zero, right now.
