Andre Trindade has been linked to Liverpool for a long time now and he has now responded to the headlines that he has been making.
Speaking with Globo Esporte, the Brazilian said that he is ‘happy’ with the proposal.
“It is obvious that it is normal to receive proposals. Even more so with the team doing well, passing the stage at Conmebol Libertadores, at the top of the Brasileirão.
Not just for me, but it must have gotten to others as well. I am happy for the proposals that arrive, but my mind today is focused 100% on Fluminense.”
Andre not looking for a Liverpool move anytime soon?
It shows that the 22-year-old is level-headed about the interest around him at present. But it also shows that he doesn’t have imminent plans of leaving the Brazilian side in the coming weeks.
However, there also have been reports that the Fluminense player has agreed personal terms with Liverpool. This means that the Reds now only need to agree upon a fee with the club to sign the player.
But an ESPN reporter had also claimed that a January move wouldn’t be on the cards and is now again claiming that a September move wouldn’t be completed either.
It could be that the Brazilian outfit would not be willing to sell their prized asset and Liverpool might have to meet his buy-out clause.
It’s reported that the fee would be €40 million for overseas clubs, and we know that there should be enough money from the Caicedo pot to afford this.
It would feel that Liverpool have an upper hand if they really want the player. And Klopp could convince the player to move to Anfield and play for the Merseysiders this season.
Meanwhile, the Reds are also seemingly in the hunt for Dutch midfielder, Ryan Gravenberch. Like Andre, the Bayern player has also been in the transfer wishlist for a long time.
