Liverpool looking at €100m man as Salah replacement

Luca Marchetti, a journalist for Sky Italia, has suggested that Napoli needs to start working toward an increase in salary for star forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia because of Liverpool.
The Reds are reportedly looking at the Georgian as a replacement for their star winger, Mohamed Salah, should he leave.
Liverpool obviously would not want the Egyptian to leave. But with increased interest from the Saudi side, they might have to budge later, if not now.
Hence, the Anfield club have started looking at a potential replacement for the 3-time Golden Boot winner.
Established stars like Leroy Sane and Federico Chiesa made the list. But the new name on the list is the Georgian who had a breakthrough season at Napoli last time out.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is in the Liverpool books
Kvaratskhelia has had a stellar season and was pivotal in securing the Scudetto for Napoli last season.
Hence, he has attracted various interests from many elite clubs across Europe, with Liverpool being one of them.
Reacting to this rumour, Luca Marchetti, a journalist for Sky Italia, has suggested that Napoli needs to start working toward an increase in salary for him. Moreover, he suggested that Liverpool could end up being a ‘threat’
The 22-year-old is on a relatively low salary at the moment and has far exceeded expectations since moving to Italy from Georgia.
The Georgian moved to Napoli for just €12m last summer and could now cost several times that after a breakout season in Serie A.
Moreover, Liverpool knows just how good he can be at his best. He played extremely well against the Reds last season in the Champions League group phase clash in Naples.
Christian Emile, one of the 22-year-old’s agents, revealed on Fabrizio’s YouTube channel in November that the winger is likely to cost around €100m when he is eventually sold.
Hence, if Salah is to leave Anfield, the Georgian could be a great option. But again, his price is something to think about.
With only one season of top-flight football under his belt, the fee is extremely high. But again, we have seen Caicedo go for a record £115m with only one season at Brighton.
