But when he left England, the 27-year-old clarified the reasons behind his leaving. He stated,
“Of course I want to play, but I don’t demand to start every match. No player in the world can play every match and reach his highest level.
I have my goals, but I’m zero-point-zero percent against rotation.”
So the descent from the winger to rejoin Manchester City can be easily understood. And his good relationship with Klopp can actually accelerate the deal with the assurance of regular starting opportunities at Anfield.
