Sky Sports brutally expose embarrassing Liverpool truth for Man Utd that could get much worse

The latest Sky Sports promo for Liverpool vs Manchester United portrays the recent dominance of the Anfield side over the Manchester side.

The Reds will face their bitter rivals, Manchester United, this Sunday in this season’s first competitive clash. Previous results suggest that the hosts have the advantage over the visitors.

Having won the last two matches with the Old Trafford side 7-0 and 4-0, respectively, the Merseysiders will be favorites going into the game. Moreover, the table-toppers have shown excellent character and determination throughout the season, making many comebacks from critical situations.

However, currently sitting 6th in the PL points table, the Red Devils have lost 7 games in the league. They also finished last in the UCL group stage, which saw them exiting the European competition.

The tactics of Dutch manager Eric ten Hag have failed this season despite them looking somewhat optimistic towards the end of last season. Combined with injuries and suspensions, repelling the in-form LFC will be a tough job for this Manchester United side.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Sky Sports promo foreshadows truth

The dominance of the Reds over the Manchester Giants for the past years has been pretty evident. Moreover, the pre-match advertisement building up to the most watched PL fixture has made it even more apparent.

The official broadcasters of the fixture, Sky Sports, have had plenty of significant instances from Liverpool to show in the promo. From Mohamed Salah’s shirt-off celebration to Alisson’s celebration, the broadcasters have many options.

The last goal Manchester United scored at Anfield was back in December 2018. Jesse Lingard was the only scorer for the Red Devils in a 3-1 loss under Jose Mourinho’s management. This clearly shows how poor Manchester has been for the last decade.

Speaking at the pre-match conference Klopp stated,

“The 7-0 we knew on the day was a freakish result that happens once in life pretty much. And if it helps anybody for the next game, it’s the team who lost 7-0 and not the team who won 7-0, that’s another thing.

If you take it all out of consideration then we just play a football game against the rival, the historical rival, of Liverpool FC, at home at Anfield.

That itself must make it a special game and that’s what I want to see from us: a special game. Really understand the situation and give your all – that’s all I need.”

Although the German has stayed neutral about the possibility of the match’s outcome, Liverpool will emerge victorious against Manchester United.
