‘I think it’s poor’: Simon Jordan agrees with Unai Emery over Jurgen Klopp VAR controversy

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan agrees with Aston Villa manager Unai Emery view on comments of Liverpool-Tottenham replay from Jurgen Klopp.

After the much-talked-about issue of unfair refereeing in the clash between Tottenham and Liverpool, the need for a replay is becoming more likely to happen.

Even after the release of the audio of the conversation between the match officials, the Reds are not satisfied.

As LFC boss Jurgen Klopp has said,

“The outcome should be a replay, but it probably won’t happen.”

Unai Emery has spoken about this comment and said,

“No. No. You have to accept it like before, when we were without VAR.”

Simon Jordan has agreed to the Villa boss.

While speaking on talkSPORT, the former Eagles owner said,

“He (Klopp) needed to balance it up because he was brilliant after the game. He was controlled and thoughtful and recognised a mistake had been made, so he needed to balance that up because that was too much of a decent answer so he needed to come back with this ridiculous analysis.

What happens with football people is they forget all the praise that you give to them but when you criticise them they remember it and don’t like that. If it’s put to him he’ll remind everyone how much he doesn’t like my opinions.

I think he’s one of the best managers we’ve seen in English football in a very, very long time. I think he produces a wonderful football side, I think on the whole, the things he says are always sensible and balanced, and often real world, not just football world.

The necessity for Jurgen to turn round after having a really good reaction on the game and turn it into something now, I don’t think is good form, I think it’s poor and smacks of a bit of a whiner.”

Although it might seem like an unfair request but there is no denying that the Merseysiders were denied fair chances.

So the most logical solution would be to give both the teams another chance to prove their worth. And the deserving side should win the game.
