Manchester United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge admits he is worried about Liverpool rebuild. He expressed his concerns on his YouTube channel.

Liverpool finished one of their worst full seasons under Jurgen Klopp’s tenure. The club stood in 5th position after the final matchday in the PL table. As a result, they failed to qualify for the Champions League next season and thus, have to play in the Europa League.

This has unsettled Jurgen Klopp and the club a lot so the Merseysiders are having the biggest squad shake-up of the German coach’s tenure. And the club has already started their work in order to get the squad ready before the pre-season as wanted by Klopp.

The Anfield giants signed World Cup-winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton earlier in June for just £35M. And now, last Sunday LFC announced the arrival of Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig. Liverpool triggered the release clause of £60 for the Hungarian midfielder.

And as they have secured these two deals, the name of Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia has surfaced.

Liverpool are readying an official bid for the 19-year-old for a potential transfer. But a report via The Athletic suggests that Liverpool might not be ready to pay £50M for the youngster.

However, Liverpool have done some great business which is enough to make a Manchester United fan worried. Mark Goldbridge has openly admitted that he is worried about Liverpool’s rebuilding situation. He stated through his YouTube channel,

“We mentioned Liverpool over the weekend and the signing of Szoboszlai. Lavia, they are leading the race on the Southampton midfielder [who] did get relegated but was one of the shining lights in a disappointing season for Southampton...

…Liverpool seem to be moving ahead and if they do get this deal done, I think Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Lavia is a really impressive midfield set of signings. But Liverpool, you’ve got to take your hat off to them and if they get Lavia – I’m not going to pretend that’s not a good signing.

If Liverpool sort that midfield out are they a major threat, not just to Arsenal, but Man City? Because they’ve been there and done it.

So it is safe to say that although Liverpool are prioritizing Lavia, they are still keeping other options open. If Lavia joins the team, the Merseysiders could be a pretty different team from what we saw last season.
