Liverpool Has Already Made Contact To Sign £85.2m Defender And The Club Agrees To Sell!
Antonio Silva is one of the most sought-after defenders in the transfer market and Liverpool are one of the clubs keen on signing him to improve the backline.
As per a report published by Correio da Manha, Benfica agree to sell their prized asset this summer but on one important condition.
Antonio Silva: The Transfer Market Buzz
The Portuguese media outlet has mentioned that Liverpool, Man United and most recently Arsenal have moved in to sign Antonio Silva.
The Gunners are the latest Premier League team to contact Benfica about Antonio Silva, something the Reds have already done.
It is reported that even the French champions, Paris Saint Germain and Spanish champions, Real Madrid are interested in luring the Selecao star.
However, Silva prefers to move to the Premier League, where Liverpool face heavy competition from Arsenal and Man United to sign the centre-back.
Benfica have made the admirers aware that they are ready to sell the 20-year-old, for a fee of 100 million euros i.e., the termination clause in his contract.
The youngster has already started 29 matches in the Primera Liga last term and has helped the Eagles keep 15 clean sheets.
Antonio Silva would be a perfect pair with Virgil van Dijk in the defence, and with Arne Slot arriving as the next Merseyside manager, this signing could be crucial for the Reds.
