Coutinho Return To Liverpool Seems Like A Possibility
Reports suggest that Philippe Coutinho will be heading back to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
After moving to Barcelona in January 2018 for a record-breaking £142 million from Liverpool, Coutinho has found it difficult to resurrect his previous level of play.
Even though Liverpool used the money from his transfer to sign important players like Fabinho, Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk; Coutinho struggled at Barcelona, at Bayern Munich on loan and at Aston Villa where he was unable to find his best form again.

With two years remaining on his contract Coutinho is surplus to requirements at Villa Park after an unimpressive Premier League stint at Aston Villa that included a loan to Al-Duhail for the 2023–24 season.
His contract with Aston Villa may be terminated according to reports allowing him to rejoin Vasco da Gama the team he started his career with in Brazil.
According to the Brazilian publication Trivela, Vasco da Gama and Aston Villa have reached an agreement subject to the latter’s termination of his contract.
Despite this, the club is unwilling to let go of Coutinho because they paid £17 million for him.

Fascinatingly Vasco da Gama has been connected to Fenway Sports Group (FSG), the owners of Liverpool, which may make Coutinho’s transfer easier.
FSG has been connected to a number of sports investments and is eager to grow its holdings. In the midst of this, Coutinho might be able to start over with Vasco da Gama helped by FSG’s involvement.
