James Pearce reported that Yoro is keen on moving to the Bernabeu.
“Liverpool target Leny Yoro informed Real Madrid that he wants to move to the Bernabeu. The 18-year-old French center-back is happy with the personal terms on offer but a fee has yet to be agreed between the clubs as Lille hold out for around €60m,”
Pearce wrote for The Athletic.
Liverpool have long anticipated that Real Madrid would lead the race for Yoro. However, the Reds view Yoro as a unique market opportunity given his age, talent, potential, and contract situation.
With his contract expiring next summer, Madrid are hesitant to finalize the deal quickly, leaving a glimmer of hope for Liverpool.
Liverpool’s Plan B: Riccardo Calafiori

It’s puzzling why Liverpool hasn’t turned more of their focus toward Calafiori. The Reds’ interest in Yoro is understandable, but Calafiori presents an equally compelling case.
