Transfer expert Graeme Bailey has suggested that Fluminese midfielder Andre Trindade will probably sign for Liverpool in January.
The Merseysiders underwent an extensive midfield rebuild this summer which saw four new midfielders join the club.
So far almost everyone has fit in perfectly and accepted their own responsibilities pretty well.
However, the only player who just have not fit in this team is Wataru Endo. Although the Reds signed him as an apparent replacement for Fabinho after missing out on several midfield targets, he has not found his right foot at the club.
Since joining from VfB Stuttgart, the Japanese international has managed to get 10 appearances with only 5 starts. And to fix the defensive-midfielder issue at the club, the Anfield side will again enter the transfer window this winter.
Liverpool to sign Andre in January?
LFC tried to sign the Brazilian international this summer but he opted to stay at Fluminese. He will now be available in the transfer market soon after the Brazilian Serie A in December.
And Graeme Bailey has shared some important updates regarding this saga. Speaking on the Fully Loaded Transfer Show he stated,
“There’s the Copa Liberatadores final at the weekend and there are a couple of players Newcastle have been linked with.
Valentin Barco at Boca and also Andre the midfielder in there who is probably going to go to Liverpool in January,”
The 22-year-old has already established himself as an imposing character in the Brazilian league and in South America.
He has been the working force behind Fluminese reaching the final of Copa Libertadores. The Brazilian side will face Argentine side Boca Juniors on November 5.
His addition in this Liverpool midfield of Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, and the support from Wataru Endo from behind will only boost his productivity and confidence. This team could also challenge for titles later this season.
An ardent football fan and a proud Red. I take immense pleasure in analyzing the intricacies of the game.
