The Reds secured the World Cup-winning midfielder Mac Allister deal with urgency at £35M. The 24-year-old acquired the no. 10 shirt soon after joining which was formerly owned by Sadio Mane.

According to a report by The Athletic, the no. 10 shirt can be something more than just a number for the Argentine midfielder. In the report, the portal analyzes the current Liverpool squad and also Mac Allister’s role. The fact that he has chosen the no. 10 kit is not a coincidence.
As many reports claim that manager Jurgen Klopp thinks of the new no. 10 not only in the midfield role but also as a legit forward option.
The former Brighton man has worn the no. 10 kit for the Seagulls. He played in the middle of the park for the Sussex side. The Argentine served as a classic no. 10 who receives passes from the defense or midfield and progresses the ball towards the opponent’s goal.
