As the season draws close, Liverpool youngster Max Woltman has become the club’s second player to sign a new deal, concluding an exceptional season.

Max Woltman: Debut and Contract Extension

Woltman has been with the club since the under-7s level. He made an unexpected move into the first team earlier this season with a Champions League debut.

This Young Red was one of three youngsters who played in the 2-1 win over AC Milan in December. He came off the bench alongside Conor Bradley and Tyler Morton in a mixed side at the San Siro.

Academy graduates Elijah Dixon-Bonner, James Norris, and Harvey Davies later joined the forward in the team. A month later, the Wirral-born forward was given his first start. Woltman was made into the starting XI for the team in FA Cup Round 3. Though, After an impressive outing, He made way for Takumi Minamino.

Liverpool has confirmed a new deal for the 18-year-old as the club works through the post-season paperwork.

Woltman wrote on his Instagram, following the contract extension:

Delighted to sign a new deal at this unbelievable club, Been a positive season, looking forward to getting back to full fitness and doing what I love

The Striker is represented by Sports Entertainment Group or SEG. The footballing agency counts Pep Guardiola and Eric Ten Hag as their clients.

Though the agency has most of its business in the Netherlands. They are holding up a firm ground in Merseyside as well.

Other Extensions

Woltman is one of the two contract extensions Liverpool went through with this season. The other one being academy striker Fidel O’Rourke. The 18-year old has also penned down fresh terms with the Merseyside club. Thus, the future looks brighter for the youngster who might be seen more often now in the domestic cup matches for the Reds.
