European nights at Anfield never disappoints. Moreover, if the fixture is between Liverpool and AC Milan you just can not blink your eyes during the match.
The atmosphere at Anfield acted as the twelfth man for Liverpool. While they started the game with a lot of intensity but had a sleepwalk later on in the initial half. Dominating the game for around 40 minutes, Liverpool never looked like conceding any goals. But Milan took the opportunity to get back in the game. Thus, the scoreline ended as Liverpool 1-2 AC Milan.
Speaking about the second half, it was all about Liverpool. An early goal from Mohamed Salah shifted the momentum towards the Reds. Thereafter, I was all about a brilliant strike from the Captain Jorden Henderson.
With this, Liverpools completes yet another magnificent comeback against AC Milan. Moreover, this took them on the top of the Group B in the UEFA Champions League after the Matchday 1.
Liverpool is my Religion and Anfield is my Church. 17th May 1996 the date I had my blood coloured red. The one you love the most you can not live without it and that is football to me.
