Liverpool just loves to travel to Portugal as they yet again thrashed FC Porto by winning the game comprehensively. With this, the Reds now top the Group B table after winning back to back games in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
The European competition always have high intensity in their games and so was this one. Liverpool took only 18 minutes into the game to break the deadlock. As the Reds goal machine Mohamed Salah struck a goal on either side of the half to complete his brace. Meanwhile, FC Porto did had some early chances but they never really looked like a threat to Liverpool. While Sadio Mance gave Liverpool a two-goal cushion to complete the first half.
Speaking about the 2nd half, Jurgen Klopp’s side kept creating chances and alwyas looked dangerous while going forward. The Egyptian yet again opened the scoring for the Reds in 2nd half just like he did in the initial half. Thereafter, a return for the Brazlian Roberto Firmino in the Europen competition was welcomed by a brace.
Defeating the portugues side by 5 goals to 1, Liverpool will be high on their confidence levels goining into their next match to face Manchester City.
