As Liverpool takes on Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday at Anfield, Antonio Conte claimed that a player is injured.

As Premier League is coming towards the season end, both Liverpool and Tottenham have everything to fight for and the match on Saturday will be equally important for both the teams.

Liverpool are only 1 point behind the league leaders and they need to win every match to be in the title race because if Man City drops even 1 point, Liverpool can come out on top.

Meanwhile, at one end Liverpool and Man City fight for the title while Tottenham and Arsenal battle to play in the Champions League next season.

Tottenham player who got injured

This season, Spurs have had issues with injuries as Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga, and Matt Doherty were not able to perform as they got injured and missed many fixtures throughout the season.

Antonio Conte has now revealed that Sergio Reguilon is injured and now it seems like the Spanish international could also miss the rest of the season.

Moreover, there are only 2 weeks left in the Premier League to arrive at its conclusion but the left-back remains doubtful on his return to the training ground.

Sergio Reguilon is not available. He hasn’t had a training session with us. Honestly, I don’t know, it’s only two weeks until the end of the season and I’m not sure if he’ll be back.

Conte said in the pre-Liverpool press conference

Sergio Reguilon is an important player for Tottenham as he has scored 2 goals in Premier League and he was in the starting eleven constantly and was performing well for the club.

The match against Liverpool at Anfield will be difficult for the Spurs as Mohamed Salah will play on the right-wing and losing Reguilon makes it a difficult job for Tottenham to stop the Egyptian.
