Liverpool have revealed their new Nike home kit for the upcoming season 2022-23 as we approach the business end of this season.

With only 4 matches left in hand, this season has almost ended and Liverpool are still hoping for Man City to slip and lose points so they can win the Premier League.

After their win against Newcastle United, the Reds are only 1 point behind the Sky Blues and they have their upcoming match against Antonio Contes’s side on Sunday.

The home kit has been proven to be lucky for them, as the Merseyside Club have scored 86 goals so far with an average of 2.53 goals per game and got 45 points wearing the home kit this season in the Premier League.

The new Home Kit for Liverpool FC: Overview

There are some interesting things to note about the new kit for the upcoming season. –

  1. Liverpool have released the images of their new home kit which is inspired by the outlook of ‘Scouse solidarity’ and the design is said to ‘reflect the mentality of its people, a mentality that makes Liverpool truly unique’.
  2. Behind the jersey, there is the 97-emblem encased by the eternal flames which sit proudly on the side of the neck and are present in the memory of those children, women and men who lost their lives at Hillsborough.
  3. The new Nike kit is sustainable as the jerseys are made using 100% recycled polyester fabric which is obviously made from recycled plastic bottles.

“We’re all so proud to wear the Liverpool FC jersey and be part of the swoosh family,” “We know exactly what this jersey means to our fans, and we can’t wait to run out in it at Anfield,”

Captain Hendo said

Finally, the season for Liverpool has been absolutely amazing and they will be looking forward for the remarkable ‘Quadruple.
