Mo Salah calls out for revenge against Real Madrid

Mohamed Salah is preparing to take revenge on the Spanish giants, Real Madrid because of what happened back in 2018.

Looking at the recent history, Real Madrid have an edge over Liverpool as the La Liga winners are unbeaten against the Reds in their last 3 meets.

Moreover, these two teams met last season when they were playing in the Champions League quarter-final stage where Madrid won and advanced into the semi-final.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will be looking forward to take revenge for what happened back in 2018 when Salah go injured and Jurgen Klopp’s side faced defeat in the UEFA Champions League final.

Salah on Real Madrid

Last night, the Egyptian had been crowned the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year 2022.

The Egyptian was also part of the squad which faced Real Madrid in 2018 but could not play 90 minutes as he got injured early in the first half. Thus, this was the beginning of the infamous Ramos-Salah rivalry.

The Egyptian was asked about the next meeting against the Los Blancos to which he replied

Yes, we lost in the final, it was a sad day for all of us and I think it is revenge time. I’m so excited, I said before the game that I wanted to play Madrid in the final. I’m sure it is going to be a tough game, they beat a lot of good teams so we just need to focus on the game.

The match against Real Madrid will be a redemption for Mo Salah and Liverpool
