Follow our expert professional trainers and managers to increase your football skills if you want to learn how to use cannabidiol before and after training. You will find the information on Sensoryseeds.com.

Let’s start with helpful information for all football players who want to perfect their game.

Skill and dexterity on the field of play

Skill is the player’s ability to move the ball through the air or on the ground. So it is all the acts in a static or dynamic position with which the player can overcome opponents and give way to a play and make his teammates move to make a goal action. The contact surfaces are the head, shoulders, chest, abdomen, legs, foot, inside, outside, heel, sole and toe.

1×1 dribbling in football

Dribbling is an individual technique that is highly recommended in football training. It is the action that, when a player has possession of the ball, allows him to move forward, overtaking the opponent so that he does not interrupt the team’s play.

Types of dribbling for football training sessions

  • Simple dribbling: This dribble overruns the opponent without any previous action and involves a physical action.
  • Compound dribbling: The use of a feint (explained below) or deception to dribble past the opponent.

Football drills for shooting at goal

The shot is an individual technique that involves sending or hitting the ball over the opponent’s goal and is considered the final action of football and also the last action of the ball over the opponent’s goal. So it can be done in football training by practising the following ball contact surfaces:

Shooting with the foot in training

  • This body part is used for solid or long shots of the forefoot. It allows the ball to reach a high speed with direct force.
  • Outer and inner instep: Used for spin and spinning shots.
  • Plant, toe and heel: These are resources to surprise the opponent and the goalkeeper.

Headed shots or finishing shots

  • Front: Power and direction of the ball.
  • Frontal-lateral: Power and precision thanks to the turn of the neck.
  • Parietal: Used to perform deflections.
  • Occipital: For the extension of the ball.

For shots on goal, players must take into account several factors:

  • A small and reduced area of the goal.
  • Position and position of the goalkeeper.
  • The number of players around their goal (opponent’s goal).
  • The situation of the teammates when shooting at goal.
  • The distance and speed of the shot.

Feinting on the football field

The feint is that movement performed with or without the ball to deceive, confuse or distract the opposing team. It is a way of dribbling. Feinting can be done in different ways: feinting before receiving a ball, feinting after receiving a ball, feinting after receiving a ball, and finally, feinting without having the ball to benefit our teammates.

Covering in football

Covering is a technique used to protect the ball, and there are several types. Depending on the action, we can do exercises in football training while running or standing still to protect the ball and thus prevent the opponent from taking the ball away from us.

Finally, depending on the type of protection, it can be from the side or the back, where the aim is to keep the opponent away from the ball.

Training and football matches with technique and goals.

The tackle is the physical-technical action that aims to defend your goal when the opposing player has possession of the ball, and you are trying to intercept the ball and thus start a move in favour of your team. To make the tackle, it is essential to teach the players the precise moment to do it during football training sessions. So, it should be done when the player in possession of the ball loses control of the ball, and to take advantage of this situation, the player has to slide to the ground.

There are two ways to make the tackle: Forward through the foot or with lateral sliding and, as a last form, lateral tackle.

Charging in football tackles

Charging is an action that must be carried out against an opponent but without violence and avoiding danger. Charging is critical to teach players during football training, which can only be done from the front or the side. It is from behind in some situations, but only if the opponent is obstructing. Charging is a technique that can only be done by a player not possessing the ball.

We hope you now understand better the steps and techniques you can follow to perfect your game, and you should follow our experts for more tips and training advice.

Last words: How do you improve your technique in football?

To have a good base of technique, you need to develop these key points:

  • A proper situation of the player with the trajectory of the ball.
  • Concentration on the ball.
  • Coordination of body movements. Balance and relaxation on the foot.
  • It is perfect execution, thanks to the player’s dexterity.
