And the weekend win have put the club in the 4th place in the points table with 23 points after 10 games.

The Merseysiders dominated the game as the midfield was the stronghold of the team. And the main man of this new Anfield midfield, Dominik Szoboszlai shined the brightest with his performance.

The Hungarian midfielder played 2 assists, and 4 key passes and had one shot on target which helped accumulate an 8.8 rating (stats via WhoScored). And he has quite a lot of praise from professionals.

While speaking on ESPN, the pundit said,

“I’ve got to say, and once again, Szoboszlai is absolutely scary. The guy’s so smooth it’s frightening.

And he always makes great decisions, he always picks the right pass. The guy, so far, has been absolutely phenomenal. And long may it continue.”

‘The problem’: Gary Neville makes Liverpool and Arsenal claim from Old Trafford last night

The 23-year-old has been a phenomenal signing for LFC. He has been signed at a crucial time especially when most of the senior midfielders left the club.

And since day one he has established himself as an influential player.

So far this season he has scored 2 goals and assisted 2 in 13 appearances across all competitions.

The Hungarian captain is already very young and has innate leadership skills. And he has found himself as a starter in most matches on Klopp’s team-sheet.

Szoboszlai has already been compared with Kevin De Bruyne for possessing similar attributes.

Considering his young age and leadership skills, there is no doubt that he will be the one to lead the Liverpool team in the future.
