Sadio Mane speaks out after the joining German side Bayern Munich

Sadio Mane has landed in Germany to start his new journey with Bayern Munich under Julian Nagelsmann, who joined the club last year.

The Senegal forward has been a key player for the Reds since he joining the club back in the 2016-17 season when he came from Southampton. The 30-year-old joined Liverpool as a young striker with many dreams and has departed the club as a world-class striker.

Moreover, the Senegalese international decided to leave the club after they lost in the finals of the UEFA Champions League in May. Bayern showed interest in him however, the deal offered by Bayern in the early stages were described as “laughable” by the Reds.

Bayern Munich themselves very desperate for this transfer as their leading goal scorer Robert Lewandowski decided to leave the club and join the Spanish side Barcelona. There are talks going on however, nothing has been said officially by anyone.

On Tuesday, Mane landed in Munich to complete his medical and further procedures After his medical, there were many photos and videos which got viral with Mane wearing Bayern’s training kit.

During an interview with the BILD, Sadio Mane spoke about his transfer and the things that the 30-year-old had in mind before joining Bayern Munich.

When my agent first told me about Bayern’s interest, I was immediately excited. I saw myself there right away. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title. So for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here.

Finally, Sadio Mane will be joining Bayern for the pre-season training making a return to Germany after many years.
