Sadio Mane has pledged to keep up his relationship with Liverpool by attending Jurgen Klopp‘s team’s games following each match with Bayern Munich. The forward joins the Bavarians from Liverpool under a 3-year contract.

It has finally happened.

Liverpool Legend, Anfield Hero Sadio Mane leaves the club.

Mane joined the Club back in 2016 from Southampton.

And he will leave after 6 successful seasons at Anfield.

The former No. 10 had a successful career with the Merseysiders, contributing to 158 goals over 269 appearances (in all competitions). He will undoubtedly be a great addition to Julian Nagelsmann’s team.

The 30-year-old committed to a three-year deal with the Bavarians. It will be keeping him in the Bundesliga through the summer of 2025.

Sadio Mane says he will be number 1 Liverpool fan following his departure to Bayern

Mane told the official club website:

“Yeah, of course! After every game! After every one of my games in Munich, I will come to the dressing room and I will watch Liverpool, for sure, because I am going to be Liverpool’s No.1 fan forever. I just want to say good luck to them and I have an eye on them. And for sure they will be even better because I know the boys: great players, great talent, great maturity, and attitude. So, of course, Liverpool will always stay even better, for sure.”

It’s a kind gesture from the winger-turned-striker. And we’ll hold him to his vow to return to Liverpool and experience Anfield as a supporter.

We always wish him the best in his individual and team endeavours, especially this year with Mane set to battle with Karim Benzema and Mo Salah for the Ballon d’Or.

He will always be welcomed back with open arms as our guest of honour when the time is perfect.

Although we have a tendency to react positively to tragic departures, we will be hoping that newcomer Darwin Nunez can get supporters pumped up about the future and the upcoming season straight away. The wide man will be a huge loss for Klopp, his coaching staff, and the players.
