Liverpool FC preparing a new contract for another player

On Friday, Mohamed Salah’s new deal with Liverpool was unveiled.

The Egyptian international signed a “long-term” agreement on Merseyside, putting an end to his future by committing to the Reds.

Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has established himself as one of the top players in Europe. And he has won everything with the club.

Additionally, it is a relief for everyone that he is no longer under contract with the club until next summer.

Naby Keita is still on the verge to depart Liverpool on free in a year. Along with Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, he is one of several members of Jurgen Klopp’s side whose contracts are up next summer.

The Times reported in June that Keita and Liverpool’s owners FSG were negotiating a new contract.

Additionally, Jose Enrique made a prediction. A prediction that the revelation will be made on Twitter.

Enrique mentioned Firmino’s future at Liverpool. But The Mirror reports that FSG will also chat with the Brazilian international regarding his professional future at Anfield.

The former Hoffenheim striker’s contract expires as well next summer. But an extension appears doubtful given that Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota might be ahead of him in the lineup.

Losing Firmino, who makes up two-thirds of the illustrious trident that helped Liverpool win the Premier League and the Champions League. It would be especially devastating for Klopp, who has already lost Sadio Mane this summer.

However, after breaking their transfer record to sign Nunez, the club has practically stated that Firmino doesn’t have much of a role moving ahead. Thus his departure wouldn’t be altogether be a surprise.
