Klopp is considering ending the Champions League group stage fixture with a win against Napoli. The German boss drops a big hint for the starting XI.

Klopp clues in with a line-up hint for their match against Napoli

Even though the Liverpool squad is getting ready for the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that now is not the time to make any significant changes.

The Reds lost 2-1 at struggling Leeds United on Saturday, continuing their troubling Premier League run. With Liverpool now in ninth place, there are mounting doubts over whether they will finish in the top four this year.

Tomorrow’s Champions League match against Napoli is now the focus of Klopp. Both teams have already advanced to the round of 16, so this match may provide an opportunity for some key players to rest, especially with a league matchup against Tottenham coming up soon.

Not-so-significant changes

However, Klopp said in remarks following Leeds’ loss that he doesn’t want to make significant adjustments. That is the circumstance, and the following game is already scheduled. As per the current situation, Liverpool needs to win with at least 3 goals to top the table. Meanwhile, will try to treat this as just another ordinary game for the Italy giants.

We must keep in mind what transpired when these two teams previously faced off. Even when the atmosphere in the locker room is at an all-time low, a loss like that is difficult to forget.

And make no mistake, Jurgen Klopp and the team are eager to beat the Italian Club this time. There are only a handful of games left for the Scousers before the World Cup.

And Liverpool wants to finish the remainder of the games with positive results. There are lots of things to be settled during the World Cup break. And the Scousers are optimistic to come back stronger than ever.
