Man United have officially announced the signing of Casemiro, but the midfielder won’t feature in their weekend clash against Liverpool.

With the club in severe need of recruits, United’s dartboard approach to the transfer window appears to have finally got on a workable signing.
They have taken to accepting proposals from agents in their efforts to enhance the team. And this has brought them to Real midfielder Casemiro, 30.
Although Casemiro is unquestionably a high talent, his acquisition by Manchester United represents yet another example of a bad plan. It is because Real Madrid has already replaced him with Aurelien Tchouameni.
Erik ten Hag won’t be able to include him against Liverpool whether or if United completes the transaction before Monday’s 8 pm kickoff at Old Trafford.
United’s new signing Casemiro won’t play against the Reds
According to The Athletic, in order for Casemiro to appear in the upcoming round of games, United would have had to register him with the Premier League by Friday at 12 p.m.
The midfielder won’t be able to participate in the game because that deadline has already gone.
After watching Christian Eriksen struggle in the deep-lying area in the 4-0 loss to Brentford last weekend, Ten Hag is left with a difficult decision to make for a critical position in his team.
In his pre-game news conference, Jurgen Klopp spoke to Fred as a “very talented player.” Fred is nearly likely to start, but it is unclear if Christian Eriksen or Scott McTominay will be his teammate.
Raphael Varane is likely to partner Lisandro Martinez on Monday, according to reports that Ten Hag is considering benching Harry Maguire for the match.
Even if the boss wants to, there is no realistic option to replace David de Gea despite the Spaniard’s poor performance against Brentford. Tom Heaton, 36, is the next in line.
