Mo Salah shares his view on this season’s Premier League title race. According to Liverpool’s, no 11 three teams will fight for it.

Liverpool and Man City are expected to compete for the Premier League title again. After finishing first and second in three of the last four seasons. But Mo Salah believes another team will challenge them.

The Reds missed out on the title by one point last season. After a dramatic final day in which they could have overturned City’s lead at the last hurdle. Liverpool lost the Premier League title for the second time by just a point in the last four seasons.

Mo Salah reckons another title challenger this season

As the new 2022/23 Premier League kicked off two weeks ago many fans and football pundits are expecting that this season will also witness the title race between Liverpool and Manchester City. After two draws out of two Liverpool are already 4 points behind City who have won their first two games of the season.

Premier League’s golden boot winner Mohamed Salah Speaking ahead of their match against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday, the Egyptian has named another team he believes can challenge Liverpool and City all the way.

We didn’t start the way we wanted to, but I think it’s part of the game,

We have to react. We lost four points in the first two games but it can happen.

You fight with City, you fight with Chelsea, two teams that don’t drop points easily. We just need to focus again and try to win games.

Manchester United is always a special game for the city, for the fans, for everyone around the world,

It’s maybe the two biggest teams in England, history-wise. It’s a special game for everybody.

It could be a little bit of pressure, being seven points behind City, but I think it’s too early to think about that. We don’t have to think about that now

I think everybody is excited about the season. Everybody wants to show our football again so I think we just need to carry on.

We can’t change the past so that’s why we need to focus on our next games.”

According to Salah Chelsea could also be in the title race this season. Chelsea are currently leading the Reds by two points after a win and draw in their first two games of their new season. Chelsea will face Leeds United at Elland Road and Manchester City will face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

Liverpool would definitely want to win their game against Manchester United. Who are currently at the last spot on the table? The Reds need this win if they want to fight for this season’s title they should stop dropping points from now on.

Liverpool faces Manchester United on Monday, 22nd August at Old Trafford. And they have ten players who will be missing this fixture due to injuries. It will be an interesting fixture as both teams are yet to win this season in the PL. As they don’t want to lose these crucial three points.
