The Merseysiders are ready to return to PL action tomorrow after the international break. The title race for the PL silverware has become even more interesting with the last 10 games remaining.

Arsenal are leading the race with 64 points. The Mighty Reds are at the 2nd place with the same number of points, trailing behind in goal difference.

The narrow gap between the top three teams will play a crucial role in deciding the PL winner.

Brighton have been dominant over Liverpool in the past and will be hoping to continue their impressive form with another win in this match. The Seagulls are 8th on the table and are not in the conversation of finishing top 4.

The Anfield giants will also not be backing down from the challenge and will try their best to solidify their lead at the ultimate leg of this season.

Both teams have equal amount of chance to secure three points from this game and they will be trying their best to do so.

This match will also be a test for Roberto De Zerbi as he is contention to replace his adversary in the clash upon Klopp’s departure at the end of the season.

Several key players, including Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, will be out due to injuries.

Ibrahima Konate will be returning in action as he featured for French national team. Darwin Nunez, though missed his international duty for injury, is in contention to make an appearance for the Reds.

Brighton vs Liverpool – Anfield Home Prediction

Here is what we predict for the match at Anfield. But first here are some stats to support the claims:

  • In Brighton’s previous five Premier League matches, they have secured two wins, suffered two losses and drew one.
  • Brighton have also been undefeated in four of their last five meetings against Liverpool.
  • Liverpool, on the other hand, are unbeaten for last five league games.

Neither side prefers to adopt a defensive strategy, so this game is likely to be open with numerous scoring opportunities.

While a high-scoring game is expected, Liverpool will be eager to get back to PL action with a victory. Thus, Anfield Home predicts a tight contest with Liverpool winning in a 4-goal thriller.

Liverpool 3 -1 Brighton.

Where to Watch?
