Rafael Leao has recently caught the attention of Liverpool fans. He has been spotted wearing a Mo Salah shirt while working out. Fans got excited when they saw this and heard the news.

This also started rumors that the Portuguese star might be hinting at a move to the former Premier League champions.

However, some reports are also saying that Leao did this just for his admiration towards Salah. The 23-year-old is currently in the Serie A club AC Milan. He signed a 5-year contract in 2019 which expires in 2024. The forward has played 135 matches with the club. The Portuguese also scored 2 goals for his country in the World Cup. He is one of the promising youngsters with a bright future.

Rafael Leao and the Reds had several links between them in the past. The club was heavily interested in him the past season. However, this didn’t happen and he continued to play for AC Milan. Although, the Leao and Mo Salah shirt incident has created a lot of hype among fans as they have started to expect that the forward might join the Reds.

Premier League clubs racing after Leao

AC Milan star is attracting everyone in Europe with his mesmerizing gameplay. Although, he has shown his interest several times for playing in the Premier League.

Some of the top PL clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are all trying to get Leao. However, he has insisted that right now he is focusing on playing with AC Milan. In his recent interview, he said this when he was asked about his links to Premier League clubs:

“Yes, in the future. But now I’m 100 per cent focused on Milan. I’m at a top club and I’m under contract. I also like the city of Milan.”

Leao to chose Arsenal over Chelsea

Arsenal and Chelsea, both the clubs are the ones who are most interested in signing young forward. Furthermore, when Leao was asked about which club he likes more, he said:

“I’ve seen a lot of games this year, I like Arsenal, I think they play very well.”

Rafael Leao is an exciting talent and it would be amazing to see him gain fame in Premier League.
