There is an update on Liverpool FC from Fabrizio Romano. The most prominent and trusted football journalist has had his say on Liverpool. Liverpool have some problems to be addressed and Romano says that they will begin work on them in the next year.

Liverpool are yet to start talks over Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane’s contracts. They will be hoping that this pair will renew their contracts extend their stay at Anfield. Their contract ends in 2023. Therefore, the Reds need to make sure that they do not lose their potential goal scorers and act quickly.

Mohamed Salah has netted 17 goals across all competitions this season, while Sadio Mane has 9 to his name. These two are so precious to Liverpool as they have created a hallmark over the years during their stay in Liverpool.

Both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will be busy in January with their national sides. They will be absent from the Liverpool camp to finish the African Cup of Nations. Therefore, Jurgen Klopp will be missing their services from January 9 to February 6 in the coming year.

It will be a challenge for Jurgen Klopp to manage his team without Salah and Mane. Certainly, January and February months are tough filled with a tight schedule. Liverpool will have to be at their best to keep up with other teams in the title race.
