Nat Phillips might be put up for loan once again. This time with an option to buy.

The Liverpool defender might be offered for a loan once more, and many Premier League teams are intrigued. Two of the teams with interest in the Englishman are Fulham and Bournemouth, particularly with the offer to purchase coupled with the loan.

Nat Phillips up for sale again?

He has previously been available for a loan. After agreeing to a new four-year deal, Phillips was valued at £15 million, but despite interest from teams in Germany and Italy as well as Newcastle, Watford, Burnley, West Ham, and Brighton, no significant bids materialized. Instead, Watford’s £7 million offer and loan offers from Newcastle and Leicester fell short of the Reds’ asking price.

Due to the fact that Liverpool was left waiting for interest on the deadline day, Phillips finally decided on Bournemouth for the remainder of the campaign. To lure the center-back to the south coast, the Championship club paid a loan fee of £1.5 million. In addition, they promised to pay his salary and another £250,000 if they get promoted. Phillips spent the 2019–20 season with Stuttgart in the German second division.

The probability?

Regarding the subject of departures, Phillips has long been rumored to be leaving this summer after a successful half-season loan at Bournemouth. Throughout the summer, the 25-year-old has been linked with transfers to teams in Germany, Burnley, Fulham, and Bournemouth, but his future is constrained by Liverpool’s injury problems.

Both Phillips and Van den Berg have been held back due to the necessity for strength in numbers, but it seems that only the latter will find a new club in this transfer window. Nat is still regarded as being stuck where he is since Liverpool is unable to move past the injury shenanigans. Therefore, it is advisable to treat these reports with caution.
